I like the app. Very interesting facts. Looking forward to future updates.
There are about 100 common idioms explained. I expected more. There are also some common ones that are missing, like "the grass is greener on the other side." If it gets updated it will be better. Time will tell.
I feel like such a geek for saying this, but this app just excited the heck out of me. I love learning the source and reason for words and phrases in the English language, and this app does not disappoint in explaining all aspects of each idiom. Well put together, easy to navigate, and edited like a pro.
Ill increase the rating if / when the content is upgraded. Most of the entries say the origin is unknown and there are so many common sayings missing that I have to rate the content as weak. I cant believe the origins of "blackmail", "chew the fat", "cold shoulder", "sowing your wild oats", "saved by the bell" and so many others are missing. Please keep upgrading the content and start providing the story behind the origin - not just the first time the saying was found in a written record which is not interesting at all.
The favorite option is not working and whenever you are adding an idiom to the favorite there is something else in the favorite than what you have selected to be there.
